Shanghai’s temples are a great start to appreciating the city’s culture, but you can learn more about Chinese history and culture by visiting the Museum of Shanghai located in People’s Square, where you can view an impressive collection of ancient Chinese art featuring bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.

Overlook the city 546 meters off the ground from the Shanghai Observatory Glass Tower. This is one of the best views of Shanghai and will give you a totally different perspective of this city! This plan is only suitable for those who do not fear heights!

#4: Take the Maglev Train

If your flight is from Pudong Airport, look on the bright side, even though Pudong Airport is situated 30 kilometers from the city, the Maglev can take you there in only 7 minutes! Feel the rush of adrenaline as the train travels at top speeds of over 400km per hour!
