WISS Scholarships for University
WISS is proud and excited to offer the WISS Scholarships for University. The recipients of this scholarship will receive funds to be used for university tuition fees paid directly to the university they will be attending. Current Grade 12 WISS students are invited to apply. Selected students are announced at the Graduation ceremony in June. A scholarship acceptance, specifying the conditions and duration of the scholarship, will need to be signed by the school and the parents of the selected students.
Requirements to Qualify
Strong consideration will be given to those students
with a minimum score of 6 on the IB scale of 7 (or equivalent) in all subjects during Grade 11 and 12
Strong consideration will be given to those students with predicted scores of 6 or higher on the IB scale of 7 (or equivalent)
Strong consideration will be given to those students who demonstrate service to school and demonstrate the IB Learner attributes

Requirements to Maintain Scholarship
Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full time at a four-year college or university and must maintain consistently high academic achievement. A minimum GPA of 3.7 on a 4-point scale (or equivalent) must be maintained. It is the recipient’s responsibility to submit academic records to the WISS Scholarship Committee in order to maintain the scholarship.
Scholarship recipients must uphold high standards for academic honesty and character. Any violation of academic honesty expectations or being convicted of any crimes while in university will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship. If a scholarship recipient wishes to transfer to a different college or university, they must inform WISS in writing of their plans and receive written approval for the scholarship to be transferable.
Scholarship recipients may use scholarship funds for tuition, books, housing, and other fees required by the college or university and will be paid directly to the institution. It is the recipient’s responsibility to submit invoices to the WISS Scholarship Committee in order for payments to be made.
