Phase two of the Western International School of Shanghai’s ongoing expansion project is now complete. As a result, new science labs, classrooms and an extensive library have been added to the school’s existing facilities. A 130 sq. meter sustainable greenhouse atop the science wing is also nearing completion and will provide students with a space for experiments, organic farming projects and their active involvement in Roots and Shoots. This most recent school expansion precedes the school’s plan to implement the full International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in the 2010 school year when it will welcome students in.
